About TalkShak

TalkShak is a clean, safe place for short video, communities and chat for home cooks in one city.

Why we exist

People spread talking, watching and connecting across five or six apps. We want one calmer home for it — where you can share a recipe video, find people who cook like you do, and talk without the clutter.

What we believe

Kindness first. Short, plain rules, and people treated with respect.
Safety before growth. Reporting and moderation are part of the product from day one.
Creators earn. Later, creators will keep 85% of tips and memberships. That is coming soon, and we do not promise payouts yet.

How we keep people safe

TalkShak is for adults 18 and over in the United States at launch. Every post, comment, video, profile and community has a report button. Reports go to a review process with written reasons and a way to appeal. The full detail is on the Safety page.
