Communities

For home cooks in one city. A community is a place for people who share an interest, with posts, comments, votes, rules and volunteer moderators.

What a community is

Each community has its own topic, its own rules on top of TalkShak's rules, and moderators who keep it friendly. You can post, comment, vote, and save what you like.

Quick dinners that actually work on a busy night.

Local Food Businesses

What to use instead, how to fix a dish, and what is worth buying.

How to start one

When TalkShak opens, members will be able to create a community, write its rules, and invite people. Communities with many members will need at least two moderators.

Community rules and safety

Platform rules always win over community rules. Moderators can remove, lock, pin and ban inside their community. Every action is logged. Report anything that breaks the rules from the post, comment or community itself. See the Safety page.
