1. Who this is for
TalkShak is for adults 18 or older in the United States at launch. It is a safe, friendly home for short videos, communities and chat, first for home cooks in one city and the small food businesses around them. If you are not 18 or older, do not enter.
2. The rules you accept
Be kind. No abuse, harassment or hate. Do not post illegal content, including child sexual abuse material. Do not share intimate images without consent. Do not post other people's private information. Do not copy other people's work and claim it as your own. Follow community rules on top of these platform rules; platform rules always win.
3. Reporting, moderation and appeals
Every post, comment, video, profile and community has a report button. Reports go to a review queue, sorted by priority, and are decided with a written reason, with notices to the poster and the reporter. Urgent child-safety reports are the highest priority. Intimate images shared without consent are removed, including known identical copies where they can be identified. If you disagree with a decision, you can appeal; appeals are reviewed again, and a permanent ban needs a second reviewer. No response times or safety results are promised, because the system is not live yet.
4. Privacy
Only the data a feature needs is collected. Members will be able to control who sees their profile and posts, block and mute people, export their data, and delete their account. Personal data is not sold. Private messages are not routinely read by staff. TalkShak will respond to lawful law-enforcement requests through its legal contact route.
5. Pricing and creator earnings
TalkShak is free for everyone. TalkShak Plus at $5.99 a month is coming soon, not live. Business accounts at about $40 a month come later. Creators later keep 85% of tips and memberships; TalkShak keeps 15%. No payouts are promised, and nothing here is a promise that any paid feature or earning will launch on a given date.
6. Ads and sponsorships
Business posts are clearly labeled Sponsored and placed by hand. Every ad is reviewed. Paying never buys immunity from the rules.
7. Copyright
Do not post work you do not have the right to share. Copyright notices go to the legal contact on the Contact page, which is to be confirmed before launch. After a notice, content may be removed, and the poster may appeal.
8. Draft status and changes
Company name, address and mailboxes are to be confirmed before launch, and the full legal pages are draft placeholders, not final legal text and not yet reviewed by a lawyer. The waitlist and contact forms do not store or send anything yet. These terms may change; material changes will be notified, and continued use after a change means you accept the new terms.
By pressing the button below, you confirm you are 18 or older, you have read everything above, and you accept it all.
If you do not accept, please leave the site. Your acceptance is remembered in this browser; clearing it will show this screen again.
